Untitled

Steady your breathing
Close your eyes if you have to
Listen to the sound
Of the lawnmower chewing
The man in the safari hat
Must finish the lawn
Before the sun sets on Sunday
Open wide your chest
Let all the outside in
The willing, the uncertain
Who'll surely panic
And claw their way to certainty
They mean no harm
No more than you do
With your blind reluctance
Your unearned and costly
Sense of un-purpose
Open your cloudy eyes
Watch them kick, scramble
They climb and they're sobbing
Leaving past things behind
Learn from their loving stumbles
 Learn for all our sakes
OPEN WIDE YOUR CHEST
There's just no more time
