Determination

The leprechaun was short and stout, and he was not about to let a bit o’ wind keep him from his treasured gold. He held on to the tree branch with the strongest grip his right hand could get, while pulling a pocketed clover with his left. The clover sparked and hummed as the leprechaun began to whisper in ancient tongues. Magic began to encase the leprechaun, creating an unstable moment of reality of which he was the center. The force o’ the wind increased as the Tornado Spirit became frightened at the display of the leprechaun’s power. The forest surrounding the two creatures swayed and buckled as nature versus magic collided. The leprechaun grew silent, and held the clover in front of his eyes, gale force winds roaring past him. His eyes flashed green, causing a terrible rumble from the ground beneath them. The earth cracked open, and another, giant clover rose to the height of a small tree. Clover leaves spun like a fan as the giant clover countered the Tornado Spirit's winds with some winds of its own. The Tornado Spirit howled as it was overpowered by the giant clover fan and blown from existence. It’s task complete, the giant clover fan nodded in satisfaction, then returned to the crack in the earth from whence it came. The leprechaun coughed, and the magic around him disappeared. He looked at the clover in his hand and smiled. He was quite fond o’ the tricks he’d learned. He placed the clover back in his pocket, straightened his hat and coat, and continued toward the Epcot Center.

“Now. Back to me gold.”
